Work and Stay is located in the village of Maasbree, which is part of the municipality of Peel en Maas, in the north of the province of Limburg. Limburg is known for its hospitality and gourmand lifestyle.
The campus is located in the middle of the area 'Land of Peel en Maas'. The pretty surroundings are ideal to explore by bike or on foot. Beautiful hiking trails lead along the river Maas, by national park De Groote Peel and numerous characteristic villages.
Maasbree is considered a small town by Dutch standards with its 6500 inhabitants. The village is adequate for daily shopping and there are several sports clubs and associations, a clothing store, a pharmacy, a drugstore, doctors surgery and a dentist.
The campus is located just a few kilometers from the city of Venlo. Venlo has about 35,000 inhabitants. Venlo is the city center for the surrounding area, as well as a shopping center for the neighboring German Ruhr area. Venlo has a historic center with many quaint shops and entertainment opportunities. Furthermore, there are many sport clubs active in Venlo.
